Alternate Psychotherapy Practices for Addressing Trauma: EMDR and Trauma Sensitive Yoga, with Tanya Ruckstuhl-Valenti, LICSW and Morgan Vanderpool, MSW, RYT
Join us as we continue the journey of exploring dynamic ways of helping our clients process and heal from trauma through the mind and body. Tanya Ruckstuhl-Valenti, LICSW will be discussing the clinical practice of "Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing" and Morgan Vanderpool, MSW, RYT will share her recent research findings on Trauma Sensitive Yoga. These practices are quickly moving from alternative to clinically significant and evidence based practice.

Reframing Layers: Beyond Surviving Trauma and Historical Trauma with, Norma Timbang, LICSW
Norma Timbang, LICSW, WSSCSW member and lecturer at the University of WA, will be discussing social identity development and the impacts of oppression and trauma. She specializes in working with people of color, the LGBTQ community, women, and older women. Norma is a trained organizational and program development consultant working with health and human service organizations towards sustainability and accountability.

Psychodrama: An Exploration Into Embodied Clinical Work, with Kim Friedman, MA, LMHC, CEP
This workshop will introduce participants to the key action methods of psychodrama through warm up, action and sharing. After exploring the connections of the group members to one another, we will create a vignette that demonstrates how to deepen insight into the therapeutic relationship using the body and mind. Group discussion
will conclude the workshop.
