Terms of Membership

As a mission-driven organization that recognizes the importance of applying an anti-racism lens to the work that we do, we recognize the importance of respectfully engaging with the full spectrum of diverse identities and experiences. We acknowledge that societal power structures and complexities continue to contribute to, and are reinforced by, power, control, influence, status, privilege, and inequitable opportunities. Therefore, we are committed to championing equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-oppression, and anti-racism throughout all aspects of our work. This will be done through continuous identification and effective elimination of barriers to access to associate roles, resources, and relationships.

By agreeing to join the society you are acknowledging an understanding of the work that will be done and an agreement to being committed to supporting anti-racism work throughout the organization. You are also agreeing that you've read the terms of membership and agree to abide by them.

A Member in Good Standing Shall:

1.  Meet eligibility requirements as outlined in Section 1 of By-Laws
2.  Be current in dues payments to the society;
3.  Uphold the values of ethical clinical practice defined by the Clinical Social Work     
     Association's Code of Ethics
4.  Act in accordance with the policies of the Board.

• The Membership year is September 1st through August 31st. 
• Annual renewals are due on September 1st of each year, unless otherwise specified.
• Additional fees may apply to late membership renewals after September 1st.
• Refunds (full or partial) are not given for membership termination of any kind.
