Legislation Lunch and Learn

Legislation Lunch and Learn will provide insights into the history of and importance of community advocates for social justice while motivating and equipping them to be advocates for social change. Attendees, will be exposed to and informed of the current state as well as national emerging political and social issues which impact our daily needs. Through attending, you will gain a basic understanding of state government and the political process; thereby, learning how to employ the method of translating advocacy into daily language with our legislators.

Prepare for Wine & Align where we'll spend a relaxing evening sipping wine and speaking with your peers and legislators. World famous Katerina Canyon, and other renowned artists, will share their talents while we host a silent auction for limited edition wine. Learn how to engage with your legislators in the most effective way possible.

Lindsey Arrasmith, MSW, LICSW, SUDP, WSSCSW Legislative Chair
Lindsey holds a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College and a Master’s Certificate in Addiction Studies from Eastern Washington University. She has been in the field for over a decade, and her professional background includes working in various inpatient, outpatient, and supported living settings. In her clinical work, she enjoys working with clients with multiple challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and codependency. Lindsey is also the legislative chair for WSSCSW.
